After a seven-year hiatus, Homecoming at UCLA was brought back in 2011 with goals to unite UCLA and increase school spirit and pride, as well as to bring back alumni and strengthen the alumni network. Now in our fifth year as a revitalized organization, and along with an exciting new partnership with Alumni Affairs, Homecoming has fully developed into a Bruin tradition on this campus.

General Committee is composed of about 50 talented students who, under direct leadership from their specific Core Board leader, are responsible for the planning, promotion, and execution of Homecoming Week on the UCLA campus.  ‘GenCom’ members are involved in every aspect of the preparation and idea development, ranging from the theme to the week’s specific events.  While their time and energy is dedicated to executing a flawless week of activities and school spirit, General Committee members always make time for fun, from Korean BBQ dinners to movie nights! Being a member of Homecoming is an exceptionally rewarding experience that will give your student skills, connections, and friends that will last long beyond graduation day.
