The Office of Parent & Family Programs is committed to helping parents and families participate in their student’s experience at UCLA. We believe an informed and supportive family plays an integral role in a student’s educational success. To that end, our office is the “one-stop shop” for all of your UCLA questions and needs. We offer resources for you to understand your student’s experience at different stages in his or her collegiate career. To do this, we communicate regularly with families via our helpline, emails, digital newsletters, Facebook and website.

Helpline & Email Assistance

Parents and families can call or email us with any question, big or small. We want to be your one-stop-shop for all things UCLA related. If you have a question, please call our office at (310)794-6737 or send us an email at mybruinis@ucla.edu.

Social Media

Our office makes frequent posts through our Facebook page, including information on important deadlines, upcoming parent-involvement events and happenings around campus. Parents typically use Facebook as another vehicle to reach our office and connect with other Bruin Families. You can also find us on Instagram and on Twitter, by searching “UCLA_Parents.”

Newsletter

Bruinlink is our digital parent newsletter that is published five times a year. It is designed to inform parents of growing university trends, college student development and their role as a parent of a college student.

Handbook

Our Parent & Family Handbook provides a comprehensive overview of many important aspects about the University. In our handbook you will find an overview of academic requirements, housing and campus dining, financial matters and student and campus life.

Stay Connected

You are part of the Bruin family, and we want to make sure you are connected to the University.
