The UCLA Alumni Association has numerous engagement opportunities for current students, parents and families, and alumni alike. Below you’ll find some of the great career development, networking and engagement opportunities available for Bruins at any stage.

UCLA ONE, which stands for opportunity, network and experience, is a professional networking platform where Bruins can connect online. Students can access career advice and resources, opportunities to network with Bruins in their desired professional field(s), and internship and job opportunities. Parents and families are invited to make a profile and stay active on the platform; this is a great space to network and post jobs as members of the Bruin community. Encourage your student to join thousands of Bruins networking together today, and join as a family member to grow your own professional connections.

The Bruin Career Insights YouTube Live Series features distinguished alumni in a Q&A style discussion covering a variety of professional development topics to provide insight into specific professions, industries or skill sets. Those watching at home have the opportunity to ask their own questions during the live stream. Past topics have included breaking into the entertainment industry, gaining insight into launching a start-up and preparing for your best interview. Visit the series webpage to learn more about this great opportunity for current students and alumni.

Established by the UCLA Alumni Scholars Club, the UCLA Alumni Mentor Program fosters meaningful relationships between UCLA alumni and current UCLA students. The connections made in this program help prepare students for a successful future and leave a lasting impact on our campus community. Alumni and current students can sign up to participate in this unique opportunity via UCLA ONE. The mentor selection period will begin in October.

Bruin Professionals is an alumni network dedicated to bringing together seasoned Bruins from varied occupations to engage and build a vibrant, collaborative entrepreneurial community with lasting business and social relationships. This opportunity is open to individuals who maintain an active UCLA Alumni Association membership and can demonstrate a strong affiliation with UCLA. To get involved, contact Rod Ponce at
